We accept a large range of insurances from Medicare to Medi-Cal, as well as HMO's and PPO's. We also accept cash. Feel free to call our office with any of your insurance questions.
What days is the clinic open? Is Dr. Ashok always in the office during business hours?
Clinica Medica de la Comunidad is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm. Dr. Ashok is in the El Monte office 3 days a week; Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:00am-5:00pm.
Do you take walk-ins?
Walk in patient's are always welcome, however, we would advise you to make an appointment. You will be seen quicker and it gives us a chance to prepare for your visit which reduces your waiting time. Just click Make an Appointment above!
Can I choose my own pharmacy to fill my medication?
Yes. We will cater to the pharmacy that is most convienent to you. You may pick the one closest to your home, or you also might pick the pharmacy closest to the clinic.
Are you currently accepting Pain Management patients?
Right now, we are not. Recently, there have been cases of substance abuse and we are very strict on controlled medication. Pain Management patients must be seen once a month for follow up visits and for any changes in medication.
